This was something I dreamed about. Reckon it was my brain trying to process and archive the structures I saw in Istanbul but it got mixed up with some of the colonial Baroque of old Manila. I'm a lucid dreamer and it's nice when I dream of cities and can walk around them xD

Also sketched some characters as an afterthought. They're the acrobats (off-duty) in the above scenes.

Manila Jeepney Punk

In the near future Manila is heavily damaged by a flood and earthquake. Roads are inoperable and the government has deemed infrastructure UNDER CONSTRUCTION for an indefinite period of time. But the citizens know how that goes. Life must go on. And for the Filipino masses, that means finding discarded junk and new technology, and putting things together to be able to get around the city and their daily lives. 

I also just wanted to make something Filipino culture-related since I was really homesick towards the end of my stay in SG.
